The most common side effects associated with VALTREX when used to treat genital herpes include headache, nausea, stomach pain, cold, and sore throat. These are not all the possible side effects of VALTREX.
While these side effects are usually mild and usually do not cause patients to stop taking VALTREX, you should contact your healthcare provider if you develop side effects that concern you.
