An important part of controlling your disease is learning from the experiences of others who share it. So please, look for people who can help you take charge of your life, and seek out genital herpes support groups through your doctor, on the Web, and in your community.

ASHA has organized more than 100 herpes support groups, called HELP groups, nationwide. The groups offer a safe, confidential environment where you can get accurate information and share experiences with others.
