The most common side effects associated with VALTREX when used to treat shingles are headache, nausea, and vomiting. These are not all possible side effects of VALTREX.
While side effects are usually mild and do not cause patients to stop taking VALTREX, you should contact your healthcare provider if you develop side effects that concern you.
